2010 SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES


Greece Community Federal Credit Union is presenting college-bound high school seniors with the opportunity to compete statewide and/or locally for scholarships to either a two-or four-year accredited educational institution. Application forms are available in our office.

The qualifications for either the Credit Union Association of New York and/or Rochester Chapter of the Credit Union Association of New York scholarship programs are the same. Applicants must be:
  • a member of the credit union in good standing
  • high school seniors at the time of application to either a two-or four-year accredited educational institution
  • attending college for the first time in the fall of 2010
  • use the scholarship funds before January 31, 2011
The completed application materials MUST be returned to the Greece Community FCU office by Friday, January 22, 2010. Applicants will be judged upon their academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities and the quality of an essay.

Credit Union Association of New York
  • Winners will be announced in April.
  • Greece Community Federal Credit Union scholarships are based upon the two top scorers.
Rochester Chapter of the Credit Union Association of New York Scholarship
  • Winners will be announced in March.
